Day 23: Creepshow
Today's post is The Creep from "Creepshow", the horror anthology from George Romero and Stephen King. It was a pastiche/homage to "Tale From the Crypt" and the EC Comics of yore--well, before "Tales From the Crypt" got its own show, of course. I generally found it to be a fun movie, with my favorite being Stephen King as Jordy Verrill in "Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill" (based on his short story, "Weeds").
For this drawing, I started with colored pencil and pen and ink, but then thought I'd do some watercolor/gouache over top... but then the watercolor/gouache kind overtook everything.
