Beetlejuice (1988)
Hey, it's a drawing of Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Bee... One of the better Tim Burton movies, IMHO. I must admit, I always thought it was a rather strange choice to be made into a Saturday morning cartoon. Right up there with the "Tales from the Crypt" / "Tales from the Cryptkeeper" Saturday morning cartoon.
Alas, I gotta keep this one short as I'm running behind schedule already and gotta start on tomorrow's drawing as soon as I'm done posting this one. Sigh...

STEP ONE: Here are the pencils on 8-1/2" x 11" toned cardstock, done with an Indigo Blue colored pencil.

STEP TWO: And here are the inks, done with a brush and Pro 4100 India Ink.

STEP THREE: This is after a quick wash of watercolor/gouache over the inks.
* * *
STEP FOUR: And here is the finished overlay of colored pencil over the watercolor.

Done traditionally with brush and ink, watercolor/gouache, and colored pencil on 8-1/2" x 11" toned cardstock.
